Camplux CA528M-LP 150,000 BTU Propane Tankless Water Heater

What it delivers

The Camplux CA528M-LP 150,000 BTU Propane Tankless Water Heater is a propane tankless with a 150,000 BTU/h burner and a stated maximum flow of 6.4 GPM.

Flow depends on how cold the incoming water is. Our estimate from its input: 5.1 GPM at a 45°F rise, falling to 3.3 GPM at 70°F, which is 1 shower at 2 GPM on a cold-climate winter day. Check it against your own fixtures.

The line must deliver about 1.6 gallons of propane an hour when it fires flat out. The requirement calculator adds it up; a licensed fitter confirms the pipe.

Its exhaust runs hot, so the vent must be the material its manual lists, usually stainless; budget for the vent kit.

Also on the listing: connections: 3/4" npt; material: Stainless Steel; model: CA528M-LP.

The listing gives dimensions of 14.92 in (W) x 6.69 in (H) and a weight of 31.3 lb.
